Daily Report on Violations of Human Rights in Syria: 16/06/2017

The death toll in Syria on Friday 16/06/2017 reached 28 deaths including five children and seven women.

In Ar-Raqqah, 14 civilians were killed; 12 in shelling at the hands of the international alliance, one in Syrian Democratic shelling, and another as a result of a landmine explosion.

Furthermore, eight died in Deir Azzour, six in shelling on the towns of Maraat and Hatla, and two in mortar shelling on al-Filaat and al-Harabeesh neighbourhoods at the hands of ISIS.

In addition, four died in Hama; two in clashes with government forces, one while dismantling a mine, and another as a result of Russian airstrikes targeting rural Aqirabat. Two civilians were also killed in Daraa, one as a result of artillery shelling, and the other in clashes with government forces.
