The death toll in Syria on Thursday 25/05/2017 reached 21 deaths including a child and four women.
In Deir Azzour, nine civilians were killed; four as a result of airstrikes on al-Mayadeen, three as a result of ISIS airstrikes on al-Jura and al-Qusur neighbourhoods, one shot by an ISIS sniper, and one from starvation and the lack of medical supplies due to the siege imposed on Harabeesh by ISIS.
Furthermore, three civilians died in Ar-Raqqah, as a result of mine explosions remnants of ISIS, north of the field of Hateen, and in the suburbs of the town of al-Mansura.
In addition, two died in Daraa, one in shelling, and the other in clashes with government forces.
An additional two civilians died in Hama as a result of shelling. Three civilians were also killed in Aleppo, two in shelling, and one in an explosion targeting I’zaz.
The killings of two civilians were documented as a result of regime sniper shooting, one in al-Hajar al-Aswad (Damascus), and the other in Kafr Batna (rural Damascus).
