The death toll in Syria on Wednesday 10/05/2017 reached 67 deaths including 18 children and 11 women.
In Deir Azzour, 24 civilians were killed; 19 in Russian shelling targeting al-Ardi and al-Hamidiya neighbourhoods, and the town of al-Sur (in the suburbs), four in an explosion of a house used by ISIS as an ammunition depot in al-Mayadeen, and a civilian found dead several days after his disappearance.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 19 civilians, 18 in Russian shelling on the towns of Samuma and Rasm al-Falih, and one as a result of a mine explosion remnant of ISIS in al-Baab.
Furthermore, eight died in Ar-Raqqah; six in international alliance shelling on the villages of al-Salihiya and Shanina, one in a mine explosion remnant of ISIS, and one shot by Kurdish militia.
In addition, six died in Homs as a result of Russian airstrikes targeting the village of al-Latum near al-Sakhna. Five civilians were also killed in Hama in clashes with government forces.
The killings of two civilians were documented in Daraa, one shot randomly during clashes between factions, and one in a mine explosion remnant of the regime. The killings of another two civilians were documented, shot by Kurdish militia after they fled compulsory recruitment. In addition, a civilian died due to wounds sustained in previous shelling in Idlib.
