The death toll in Syria on Friday 05/05/2017 reached 45 deaths including four children and a woman.
In Ar-Raqqah, 21 civilians were killed; 19 in international alliance shelling targeting al-Tabqa and the outskirts of al-Balikh river near the village of “Raqqah Samra”, and two shot by Kurdish militia.
In rural Damascus, six civilians were killed, five in fighting between factions in eastern Ghouta, and one due to the lack of medical supplies in eastern Ghouta due to the siege.
Furthermore, five died in Damascus, four in clashes with government forces, and one as a result of shelling in al-Qabun neighbourhood.
In addition, three died in Deir Azzour in a mine explosion remnant of ISIS. An additional three civilians were killed in bombings of explosive barrels in al-Suhul surrounding Daraa al-Balad and the town of Ibta’ (Daraa).
The killings of three civilians were documented in clashes with government forces in Hama. The killings of two civilians were documented as a result of shelling on the town of Tir Ma’la (Homs). A further two civilians were killed in rural northern Aleppo, shot by a faction of ISIS while attempting to escape prison.
