The death toll in Syria on Thursday 23/03/2017 reached 36 deaths including four children, a woman, and two killed under torture.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 27 civilians; 18 in international alliance shelling targeting the town of al-Mansura (rural Ar-Raqqah), three in shelling, four in mortar shelling on al-Hamdaniya neighbourhood (Aleppo), and two in clashes with Kurdish militia.
Furthermore, three died in Homs, one in clashes with government forces, and two under torture in a government prison. A further four civilians were killed in shelling on Idlib and Ma’rrat al-No’maan (Idlib).
The killings of two civilians were documented in international alliance shelling, one in Ar-Raqqah and the other in Deir Azzour. The killings of another two civilians were documented in Damascus, one as a result of lack of medicine in Yarmouk camp, and one in clashes with government forces.
