The death toll in Syria on Wednesday 22/03/2017 reached 102 deaths including four children and four women.
A staggering 64 civilians were killed in Ar-Raqqah; 21 in international alliance shelling targeting Al-Badiya School in al-Mansura, 38 in international alliance shelling on al-Tabqa, two executed at the hands of ISIS, one shot by an ISIS sniper, and two in a landmine explosion.
In rural Damascus, 10 civilians were killed; six in clashes with government forces, two in shelling and two in Damascus (one in shelling on Jobar neighbourhood and the other in clashes with the regime).
Homs witnessed the killings of eight civilians, seven in international alliance shelling in Ar-Raqqah, and one in shelling on the town of Tir Ma’la.
Furthermore, five died in Aleppo, four in clashes with government forces, and one in a landmine explosion. An additional five civilians were killed in Idlib in shelling on Jisr al-Shaghour and Khan Sheikhoun.
The killings of three civilians were documented in Deir Azzour; one in ISIS shelling targeting the besieged Jobar neighbourhood, one shot by a regime sniper, and one in clashes with government forces.
The killings of three civilians were documented in Daraa as a result of shelling, one in Hama, another in shelling in Daraa, and a civilian from Al-Hassaka in clashes with government forces.
