First Batch of Families and Fighters Leave al-Wa’er

The first batch of fighters and families from the besieged district of al-Wa’er in the city of Homs have began to leave, heading towards the city of Jarablus in northern Syria.

Those leaving as part of the first batch amount to approximately 2000 people.

They leave as part of the agreement between the families committee of the district and the Syrian regime, under the auspices of the Russians. The agreement was signed on 13/3/2017.
