The death toll in Syria on Monday 27/02/2017 reached 65 deaths including 11 children, six women, and two killed under torture.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 21 civilians; 12 in Russian shelling on the town of Abu Hanaya and the village of al-Hazaani, eight in a mine explosion remnants of ISIS, and one as a result of previous Turkish shelling on al-Baab.
In Idlib, 19 civilians were killed in Russian shelling targeting Areeha (rural Idlib).
Furthermore, 12 died in rural Damascus, 10 in shelling targeting al-Marj, and two in clashes with government forces. In addition, a civilian from al-Tadamun neighbourhood was killed under torture in a government prison in Damascus.
The killings of six civilians were documented in Deir Azzour; four in clashes with government forces in the town of Tadif, one due to the regime targeting a bus carrying them near the town of Mari’ (rural Aleppo), and one under torture in a regime prison.
The Syrian Human Rights Committee documented the killings of three civilians in Daraa, two in clashes with government forces, and one in clashes with ISIS. An additional three civilians were killed in shelling on al-Talaal al-Bayda (Al-Latakia).
