The death toll in Syria on Sunday 26/02/2017 reached 36 deaths including ten children and two women.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 22 civilians; 15 as a result of a mine explosion remnants of ISIS on al-Baab and the town of Qabaseen, two in a mine explosion on al-A’damiya neighbourhood, one in shelling on the town of Maskana, another in previous Turkish shelling on al-Baab, one in international alliance shelling on Manbaj, one in clashes with ISIS, and one in clashes with government forces in ar-Rashdeen neighbourhood (Aleppo).
In Homs, five civilians were killed, four in shelling on the besieged neighbourhood of al-Waer, and one in shelling at one of the fronts in Talbisa.
Furthermore, three died in Daraa, two in clashes with government forces, and one in shelling. An additional three civilians were killed in Idlib, two in international alliance shelling targeting a bus, and one in shelling on al-Dabeed neighbourhood.
The killings of two civilians were documented in rural Damascus, one in as a result of napalm incendiary bomb explosions on Douma and the other in clashes with government forces. The killing of a civilian was documented, executed at the hands of ISIS under charges of associating with al-Nusra front in Yarmouk camp (southern Damascus).
