The death toll in Syria on Tuesday 21/02/2017 reached 69 deaths including ten children, four women, and one killed under torture.
In Ar-Raqqah, 28 civilians were killed, 27 in international alliance shelling on the town of Ma’adin and the villages of Fatateesh and al-Sahamiya, and one in a landmine explosion in rural al-Tabqa.
Furthermore, 12 were killed in Daraa; ten executed at the hands of ISIS, one in a bomb explosion in the town of Taseel, and one in clashes with government forces.
In addition, ten civilians were killed in shelling on Deir Azzour, and Tuesday market in rural al-Sur.
A further seven civilians were killed in Idlib, six in shelling targeting the town of Ma’rrat Masreen, and one shot by Turkish border guards. Six civilians were also killed in Aleppo, four in Kurdish militia shelling on the town of Kaljabreen, and two in clashes with ISIS.
The killings of three civilians were documented in rural Damascus, two in shelling on Harista cemetery, and one from a kidney failure as a result of the lack of medicine due to the siege imposed on Douma. The killings of two civilians were also documented in a landmine explosion in Al-Hassaka, and another from Al-Latakia killed under torture in a regime prison.
