The death toll in Syria on Sunday 29/01/2017 reached 24 deaths including five children and five women.
In Deir Azzour, nine civilians were killed as a result of airstrikes targeting al-‘Amaal neighbourhood and the towns of Hatla and Hajeen.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of seven civilians, six in shelling on al-Baab and the town of Tadif, and one in a landmine explosion.
Furthermore, two were killed in rural Damascus, in clashes with ISIS. An additional two civilians were killed in Hama in shelling targeting the town of al-Latamina. In addition, a civilian – who was missing – died as a result of previous shelling on Tadmur (Homs).
The killings of two civilians were documented in a landmine explosion in Ar-Raqqah, and another in shelling in Daraa.
