The death toll in Syria on Thursday 26/01/2017 reached 23 deaths. Among the victims were two children.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 11 civilians, ten in artillery shelling and airstrikes on al-Baab and the town of Tadif, and one in mortar shelling on al-Hamdaniya neighbourhood.
In Deir Azzour, four civilians were killed, two in shelling targeting the village of al-Salhiya two days ago, and two in ISIS shelling targeting al-Tahtuh neighbourhood.
In addition, three civilians were killed in rural Damascus, two in clashes with government forces, and one shot by a sniper in the town of Baqeen.
An additional three civilians were killed in Daraa, in a bomb explosion between the towns of Eastern al-Kark and Rakhm. A civilian killed as a result of ISIS shelling on the village of Latqa (Ar-Raqqah), and another shot by factions during a demonstration in the village of al-Halzun (Idlib).
