The death toll in Syria on Monday 23/01/2017 reached 25 deaths including two children, six women, and one killed under torture.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 12 civilians; six in helicopter bombing of explosive barrels targeting a school for refugees in Baza’a, two in a mine explosion planted by ISIS, and four in Turkish shelling on the town of Tadif.
In Idlib, four civilians were killed; three found killed and reasons for their death remains unknown, and one in international alliance shelling on rural Aleppo.
An additional four civilians were killed in Deir Azzour, as a result of shelling on Deir Azzour and the town of Al-Bawleel. Furthermore, two died Ar-Raqqah, one in international alliance shelling, and one executed at the hands of ISIS under charges of working with the alliance.
The killing of a civilian was documented in Homs as a result of shelling on the town of Taldu. The killing of a civilian was documented in rural Damascus shot by a regime sniper. In addition, a civilian from Yarmouk camp (southern Damascus) was killed under torture in a regime prison.
