Today saw the completion of the evacuation of the displaced in Aleppo’s besieged districts, with approximately 10 lorries leaving in the morning, 12 in the afternoon, and 1250 people left from Kafraya and al-Fou’ah, encompassing those whom the agreement had included.
The completion of the evacuation process has rendered all of the city of Aleppo under regime control, as announced by the regime this evening.
The evacuation of the residents of eastern Aleppo, which began on 15/12 and ended today, saw the movement of approximately 25,000 people, making it the largest enforced displacement process witnessed by Syria in the modern era.
Six injured from among the displaced arrived into Turkey today, making the number of injured people transferred from Aleppo to Turkey a total of 182 people, among them 72 children.
It was also announced today that from among the injured transferred into Turkey, 15 had died.
