The death toll in Syria on Monday 05/12/2015 reached 81 deaths including 16 children, nine women, and one killed under torture.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 40 civilians; 32 in shelling on al-Ma’adi, al-Marja, al-Ansari, al-Zabdiya and Jisr al-Hajj, and eight in bombing on government controlled al-Mashariqa neighbourhood.
In Idlib, 17 civilians were killed, 14 in shelling on the northern neighbourhood of Idlib, Taftanaz, and the town of Ta’um, and three shot by Turkish gendarmes while trying to enter Turkish territory.
Furthermore, eight died in Homs in shelling on the towns of al-Ghantou and Sharshuh.
In addition, seven died in rural Damascus, six in shelling on Madaya and Douma, and one under torture in a government prison.
An additional seven died in Ar-Raqqah, as a result of international alliance shelling targeting the water foundation in the town of Al-Jarnia.
The killing of a civilian was documented as a result of indiscriminate shelling in the town of al-Shajara (Daraa). The killing of another civilian from Hama was also documented as a result of shelling in the town of Kafr Naha (Aleppo).
