The death toll in Syria on Monday 28/11/2015 reached 96 deaths including 16 children, 15 women, and one killed under torture.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 55 civilians; 39 in shelling on eastern neighbourhoods including; al-Shi’ar, Tareeq al-Baab, al-Halk, al-Salheen, Ba’ideen, and the towns of Kafr Kameen and Tadif (rural Aleppo), ten in mortar shelling on government controlled neighbourhoods, three executed at the hands of Kurdish militia in Ba’deen after they took control over it, two shot by a sniper, and one in clashes with government forces.
In Deir Azzour, 15 civilians were killed; eight in shelling on al-Hamidiya neighbourhood on 27/11/2016 and the town of al-Mohsen, six in ISIS shelling on the besieged neighbourhoods in Deir Azzour, and one in international alliance shelling.
An additional 15 civilians were killed in Homs as a result of shelling targeting the town of al-Ghantou, the village of al-Sam’aleel with artillery and mortars, and targeting civilian vehicles on Tareeq al-barj al-Sam’aleel with a guided missile.
Furthermore, five died in Hama, as a result of shelling on the towns of al-Latamina, Kafr Zeita and al-Ankawi. In addition, three died in rural Damascus; one in clashes with government forces, another as a result of the lack of medical care in al-Tal, and one under torture in a government prison.
The killings of three civilians were documented in Ar-Raqqah, two found near al-Baab, (rural Aleppo), and one executed at the hands of ISIS.
