The death toll in Syria on Wednesday 16/11/2016 reached 119 deaths including 20 children, 12 women, and 22 killed under torture.
A staggering 88 civilians were killed in Aleppo; 75 in shelling on Tareeq al-Baab, al-Shi’ar, al-Sukari, al-Salheen, al-Sakhoor and al-Firdaws neighbourhoods, the town of Batbu (where a massacre of 23 victims took place), the village of al-Samiria (rural Aleppo), eight in a landmine explosion remnants of ISIS in the village of Haaj Kusa and the village of al-Tawqali, three in mortar shelling on government controlled new Aleppo neighbourhood, one in an explosion remnants of Russian airstrikes in Daara Azza, and one in clashes with ISIS.
Hama witnessed the killings of 25 civilians; 21 under torture in Sednaya military prison, two in a bomb explosion targeting their vehicle, and two in shelling on the town of Batbu (rural Aleppo).
In addition, two civilians were killed in Idlib as a result of shelling targeting a primary school in the town of al-Habeet (rural Idlib).
Furthermore, a civilian was killed under torture in a regime prison, and another shot by a regime sniper in the besieged town of Baqeen (rural Damascus).
The killing of a civilian was documented as a result of ISIS shelling on al-Harabeesh neighbourhood (Deir Azzour), and another in a landmine explosion in Al-Hassaka.
