The death toll in Syria on Thursday 06/10/2016 reached 53 deaths including a child, four women, and one killed under torture.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 31 civilians; 11 in mortar shelling on government controlled al-Jamiliya neighbourhood, ten in a car bomb explosion in Ma’ir Atma at the border crossing with Turkey, four in shelling on Bustan al-Basha, al-Mawlat and the town of Khan al-Asal (rural Aleppo), four in clashes with ISIS, one shot by a regime sniper, and one under torture in Sednaya military prison.
Furthermore, 15 were killed in a in a suicide bomb attack at Atma border crossing with Turkey. Among the victims were ten from Idlib, three from Deir Azzour, and two from Hama.
In Daraa, three civilians were killed in bombing of explosive barrels on Tafs (rural Daraa).
The killings of three civilians were documented as a result of shelling on rural Damascus. The killing of another civilian was documented in international alliance shelling on the village of Tal al-Jayir in Al-Hassaka.
