The death toll in Syria on Tuesday 04/10/2016 reached 66 deaths including five children, two women, and one killed under torture.
A staggering 41 civilians were killed in Aleppo; 23 in shelling in rural al-Muhandiseen and the towns of Kafr Nasih, Kafr Nafi’ (rural Aleppo), and Bustan al-Basha neighbourhood, nine in mortar shelling on Aleppo university and the outskirts of Ar-Rahman mosque and government controlled al-Maydan neighbourhood, two in clashes – one with government forces and the other with ISIS, and one shot by Kurdish militia.
In Al-Hassaka, 11 civilians were killed in a suicide attack carried out by ISIS on a celebration hall on 03/10/2016.
Furthermore, three died in Daraa, one in clashes with government forces, two in shelling, and one under torture in a government prison.
Homs witnessed the killings of four civilians in shelling on the towns of Talthahab and Kafr Laha. In addition, two were killed in Russian airstrikes in Hama, and one in clashes with ISIS in rural Damascus.
The killings of three civilians were documented in Deir Azzour, two in shelling on the town of al-Mohsin, and one executed at the hands of ISIS. The execution of a civilian from Ar-Raqqah was also documented at the hands of ISIS.
