Daily Report on Violations of Human Rights in Syria: 02/10/2016

The death toll in Syria on Sunday 02/10/2016 reached 40 deaths including four women, four children and two killed under torture.

 

Aleppo witnessed the killings of 15 civilians; eight in international alliance shelling on the town of Tabiq, six in shelling targeting al-Ansari neighbourhood and Haritan (rural Aleppo), and one in mortar shelling on al-Salimaniya neighbourhood.

 

In rural Damascus, ten civilians were killed, nine in shelling on Douma, Arbeen and Harista, and one in clashes with government forces.

 

Furthermore, nine died in Hama in Russian airstrikes on al-Latamina, Suran and the town of al-Zaka (rural Hama).

 

In addition, four were killed in Idlib, three in shelling, and one in clashes with government forces. Two were killed under torture in a government prison.
