The use of clonic bombs to create large holes has caused great material damage to buildings

Aleppo witnessed one of its most bloodiest days on Friday, as war planes and helicopters targeted the districts of al-Qatirji, al-Kalasah, al-Muwasalat, al-Marjah, al-Neirab, al-Saliheen, al-Ma’adi, al-Ansari, al-Sakhoor, al-Firdaws and Bustan al-Qasr, killing 95 people- one of the highest death tolls to have occured during one day only in the province.

Among the most prominent of the massacres witnessed by Aleppo today are:

  • A massacre by war planes on the town of Bashqateen (rural Aleppo) in which at least 19 were killed
  • A massacre by war planes on the district of al-Qatirji in Aleppo city in which at least 7 were killed
  • A massacre by war planes on the district of Bab al-Neirab in Aleppo city in which at least 6 were killed
  • A massacre by war planes on the district of al-Saliheen in Aleppo city in which at least 5 were killed
  • A massacre by war planes on the district of al-Ansari in Aleppo city in which at least 8 were killed
  • A massacre by war planes on the district of al-Kalasah in Aleppo city in which at least 14 were killed
  • A massacre by war planes on the city of al-Bab (eastern rural Aleppo) in which at least 12 were killed
  • Bombing by regime war planes with the use of incendiary napalm bombs (internationally forbidden weapons) on the district of Tariq al-Bab in Aleppo city
  • Targeting by war planes claimed to be Russian on the Aljazeera news channel office in Aleppo city, causing moderate damage to the office
  • Bombing by war planes alongside artillery bombing on three civil defence centres in Aleppo city (Save-Hanano centre, Relieve-Hanano centre, and the Ansari centre), causing two of the centres to go out of service and destroying five machines, including two ambulances, two fire engines and other equipment
