The death toll in Syria on Saturday 24/09/2016 reached 114 deaths including 14 children, six women and one killed under torture.
A staggering 109 civilians were killed in Aleppo in shelling on the eastern neighbourhoods including; Bustan al-Qasr, al-Firdaws, al-Nairub, Haara al-Basha in old Aleppo, al-Maysir, al-Ard al-Hamraa, al-Sakhour, Karam Humad, al-Mashad, al-Kalaasa, al-Sukari and Tareeq al-Baab and the cities of Kafr Dail and Kafr Hamra (rural Aleppo).
In Deir Azzour, two civilians were killed, one in clashes with government forces (rural Aleppo), and the other under torture in a government prison.
Furthermore, a civilian was killed in rural Damascus, as a result of the lack of food and medicine due to the siege imposed on Douma.
In addition, a civilian died in Idlib in a bomb explosion, and another civilian died from wounds sustained in shelling on Aqraba.
