Massacre in Ma’arat Ma’sareen on First Day of Eid

War planes targeted the popular market of Ma’arat Ma’sareen in rural Idlib on the first day of Eid al-Adha, killing 13 people and injuring several others.

The massacre took place before the agreement for a ceasefire between the foreign offices of America and Russia came in.

Victims identified include:

  1. Ahmed al-Abasi Badalah
  2. Ahmed Bitar
  3. Taghreed Badalah
  4. Hala al-Khalid
  5. Khairu ‘Alulu
  6. Samir Hamudi
  7. Mahroos al-Khalid
  8. Mohammed Abdullah Nidaf Ibrahim al-Abdullah
  9. Mohammed Mahroos al-Khalid
  10. Waseem Bitar
