The death toll in Syria on Monday 05/09/2016 reached 55 deaths including seven children and five women.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 23 civilians; seven in shelling – the majority in al-Sukari neighbourhood, nine in mortar shelling on Salah al-Deen neighbourhood, three in clashes with government forces, two in clashes with ISIS, and two in a landmine explosion remnants of ISIS.
In Idlib, 15 civilians were killed, ten in shelling on Ma’rrat al-No’maan, and five in clashes with government forces.
Furthermore, six died in rural Damascus, five in clashes with government forces, and one in clashes with ISIS.
A further three died in Ar-Raqqah, shot by Turkish border forces while trying to cross the borders. In addition, two were killed in Deir Azzour, one executed at the hands of ISIS, and the other in regime shelling targeting al-Hamidiya neighbourhood.
The killings of four civilians were documented in Hama, three in clashes with government forces, and one in shelling. The killing of a civilian was also documented in Homs, as a result of shelling, and another in a car bomb explosion in Al-Hassaka.
