The death toll in Syria on Sunday 28/08/2016 reached 53 deaths including six children and ten women.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 24 civilians; 15 in alleged Turkish shelling on the village of al-Sareesat in Jarablis, three executed at the hands of Kurdish militia, two executed at the hands of ISIS, one in a mine explosion remnants of ISIS in rural Manbaj, one shot by Turkish border guards, another in shelling, and one in clashes with government forces.
In Homs, 14 civilians were killed in shelling targeting the besieged al-Waer neighbourhood and the towns of al-Ghantou, Talbisa and ar-Rastan (rural Homs).
In rural Damascus, eight civilians were killed, three in shelling, and five in clashes with government forces.
Furthermore, five died in Idlib, one in shelling, and four in clashes with government forces. In addition, two were killed in Hama, as a result of shelling, and one in international alliance shelling on an ISIS prison in Ar-Raqqah.
