The death toll in Syria on Wednesday 24/08/2016 reached 36 deaths including four children and three women.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of eight civilians; four in shelling – the majority in al-Mashad neighbourhood, two in clashes with government forces, and two in mine explosions remnants of ISIS in rural Manbaj, and one shot by a sniper in Aleppo.
In Idlib, nine civilians were killed, six in clashes with government forces, and three in shelling on the town of al-Janudiya.
Furthermore, seven died in Damascus, in clashes with government forces. In addition, five were killed in Hama, three in clashes with government forces, and two in an explosion at Atma crossing on 15/08/2016.
The killings of three civilians were documented in Deir Azzour, in shelling carried out by ISIS on al-Jura neighbourhood. The killings of two civilians were also documented in shelling in Daraa, and another in shelling on the town of al-Za’farana (Homs).
