Regime forces targeted the besieged district of al-Wa’ar in Homs city with artillery shells and explosive cylinders, injuring several people as a result.

The bombing targeted the hospital of al-Bir Foundation- the first time in which it has been targeted since the beginning of the civilian uprising in 2011. The bombing caused great material damage to the floor specialised in Kidney diseases and cesarean births.

Regime checkpoints surrounding the district opened fire towards the district at the same time in which the bombing took place.
