The death toll in Syria on Sunday 14/08/2016 reached 67 deaths including seven children, eight women, and three executed in government prisons.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 17 civilians; five in Russian airstrikes on the towns of Hayan and al-‘Ees (rural Aleppo), four in a mine explosion by ISIS in rural Manbaj, four shot by a sniper from an unknown source in Manbaj, one shot by Kurdish militia, two in clashes with government forces, and a journalist while covering clashes with government forces.
An additional 17 civilians were killed in Idlib; ten in shelling on Mobladat al-Habeet, al-Janudiya and Lawza (rural Idlib), four in a car bomb explosion at Atma border crossing with Turkey, and three in clashes with government forces.
In Homs, nine civilians were killed; five in clashes with government forces, and four in shelling on Talbisa.
Furthermore, 11 died in rural Damascus, seven in shelling on the towns of al-Raheeba and Dariya, three executed in a government prison, and one in clashes with government forces. In addition, ten were killed in Hama; three in a car bomb explosion at Atma border crossing, two in bombing of headquarters in Aleppo, two in shelling, and three in clashes with government forces.
The killings of two civilians were documented in Deir Azzour as a result of shelling. The killing of a civilian was also documented in clashes with government forces in Daraa.
