The death toll in Syria on Wednesday 10/08/2016 reached 94 deaths including 20 children and six women.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 44 civilians; 16 in shelling on al-Sakhour and al-Zabdiya and the town of Urum al-Kubra (rural Aleppo), 15 in mortar shelling on government controlled al-Hamdaniya neighbourhood, seven in clashes with government forces, two shot by a sniper; one from an unknown source in Manbaj and the other by government forces, three in a landmine explosion remnants of ISIS in rural Manbaj, and one in clashes with ISIS.
In Idlib, 33 civilians were killed in shelling; 16 in Idlib, six in Ma’rrat al-No’maan, five in Ma’rrat Masreen, five in Areeha, and one in Saraqib. Another civilian was killed in Idlib, in clashes with government forces.
In rural Damascus, nine civilians were killed, seven in clashes with government forces and two in shelling. A civilian was also killed while repelling the infiltration of the regime on the orchards of Bazra neighbourhood (Damascus).
Furthermore, four died in Daraa; two in a bomb explosion, one found dead with several gunshot wounds, and one in shelling. A civilian also died in Deir Azzour, in Russian airstrikes on the oil refinery near the town of Thiban in the eastern suburbs.
