The death toll in Syria on Tuesday 09/08/2016 reached 59 deaths including five children, five women and one killed under torture.
In Deir Azzour, 21 civilians were killed in warplane shelling on the town of Mahimada.
Furthermore, 13 civilians died in Aleppo, eight in shelling on Tal al-Zarazeer, al-Sakhour and al-Sukari, two in Kurdish militia shelling on Manbaj, a woman in clashes between Kurdish militia and a faction of the rebel army, and three in a mine explosion remnants of ISIS in Manbaj while they were trying to flee the city.
In addition, four died in Hama, three in clashes with government forces, and one under torture in one of the security branches in Damascus. A further two civilians were killed in Daraa, in shelling targeting al-Sabeel and al-Abasiya neighbourhoods in Daraa al-Mahata.
The killings of seven civilians were documented in rural Damascus; three in shelling on Douma, three in clashes with government forces, and one in a bomb explosion. The killings of two civilians were also documented in Homs, one in shelling on Talbisa, and one in clashes with government forces.
