The death toll in Syria on Monday 08/08/2016 reached 47 deaths including four children and four women.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 22 civilians; 14 in shelling on al-Sukari, al-Firdaws and Jabal Badru and the towns of Kafr Kameen and Darra Azza (rural Aleppo), five in mortar shelling on government controlled neighbourhoods, and three in clashes with government forces.
In Idlib, eight civilians were killed, four in shelling and four in clashes with government forces.
Furthermore, seven died in rural Damascus; four in clashes with government forces, two in shelling on the town of Zakiya and Khan al-Sheeh camp, and a journalist while covering clashes with government forces.
In addition, four died in Hama, three in clashes with government forces, and one shot by the regime as they stormed al-Suwaida prison. A civilian was also killed when his car was targeted by the regime, and another from Yarmouk camp (Southern Damascus) died in shelling on Idlib.
The killings of two civilians were documented in Ar-Raqqah, executed at the hands of ISIS. The killings of another two civilians were documented in Ar-Raqqah, one executed at the hands of ISIS, and the other in clashes with government forces.
