The death toll in Syria on Friday 29/07/2016 reached 53 deaths including 13 children and six women.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 31 civilians; 28 in shelling on Bustan al-Basha, al-Sukari and al-Halk and the towns of al-Atrab and Abeen (rural Aleppo), a journalist while covering clashes with government forces, one shot by pro-regime forces in government controlled al-Hamdaniya neighbourhood, and another in clashes with government forces.
In rural Damascus, eight civilians were killed, five in clashes with government forces, and three in shelling. In Idlib, ten civilians were killed in shelling on the towns of Bansh, Salqeen and Ma’rrat Harma.
Furthermore, three died in Homs, two in clashes with government forces, and one due to the lack of medical care in al-Ruqban camp at the Jordanian borders. In addition, a civilian died in shelling in Ar-Raqqah.
