The death toll in Syria on Saturday 23/07/2016 reached 94 deaths including 22 children and 15 women.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 29 civilians; 19 in shelling on al-Maysir, al-Qatraji, al-Firdaus and the towns of Abeen, al-Atarib, I’zaz, Urum al-Kubra (rural Aleppo), four in international alliance shelling on the towns of al-Nawaja (rural Manbaj), one in a mine explosion remnants of ISIS, one shot by Kurdish militia, two in clashes with government forces, and one in mortar shelling on government controlled neighbourhoods.
In rural Damascus, 23 civilians were killed; 18 in shelling on the towns of Masraba, Humuriya and Harira, two in clashes with government forces, one at the hands of Hezbollah, another shot by a regime sniper in the town of Madaya, and one under torture in a government prison.
Furthermore, 18 died in Idlib; 15 in shelling on Jisr al-Shaghour, al-Tamani’a, Bansh and Saraqib, and three in clashes with government forces.
In addition, 12 died in Deir Azzour, ten in shelling on the town of al-Tabani (rural Deir Azzour), and two drowned Hawqiya neighbourhood. A further two civilians were killed in Daraa, one shot by government forces, and the other in a bomb explosion.
The killings of six civilians were documented in Hama in shelling on the town of Suha. The killings of four civilians were documented in Homs, three in shelling, and one in clashes with government forces. The killing of a civilian from Yarmouk camp (southern Damascus) was also documented, assassinated at the hands of ISIS.
