Artillery Shell Targets Civil Defence Team in al-Marj

Civil defence officer Khalid Saleem was injured by an artillery shell.

Civil defence officer Khalid Saleem was injured by an artillery shell.

Regime forces targeted the town of al-Mid’ani in al-Marj, rural Damascus, with artillery shells, killing one person and injuring a number of others.

Whilst the civil defence rescued the injured, another shell fell close to the team, injuring officer Khalid Saleem and causing moderate damage to the ambulance they were using.
