The death toll in Syria on Saturday 11/06/2016 reached 56 deaths including 17 children and six women.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 44 civilians; 16 in shelling on al-Sukari, al-Kalasa and al-Haidariya neighbourhoods and the towns of Urum al-Kubra, Ainjara and Qabaseen (rural Aleppo). In addition, 20 of the civilians died as a result of international alliance airstrikes on the towns of al-Hudhud and Awjaqna (rural Manbaj), three shot by an ISIS sniper in the town of al-Hudhud, two shot by unknown assailants, one in a bomb explosion, another in clashes with government forces, and one in clashes with Kurdish militia.
In Deir Azzour, six civilians were killed; four in shelling on the town of Haritan (rural Aleppo), one executed at the hands of ISIS, and one from wounds sustained in previous shelling.
Furthermore, four died in Idlib, three in clashes with government forces and one in an artillery shell explosion near Abu al-Thuhur airport.
The killing of a civilian was documented in Hama, as a result of shelling and another in Daraa, shot by ISIS.
