The death toll in Syria on Sunday 05/06/2016 reached 103 deaths including five children, nine women, and one killed under torture.
A staggering 63 civilians were killed in Aleppo, 51 in Russian airstrikes, artillery and regime warplanes on al-Maysir, al-Qatraji, Karam al-Jabal, al-Zabdiya and al-Mashad neighbourhoods, and shelling on the towns of Haritan, Bayabis, Karam Aleppo, Daara Azza and Kafr Hamra (rural Aleppo). In addition, nine died in mortar shelling on government controlled neighbourhoods, and two in clashes with government forces.
Idlib witnessed the killings of 15 civilians; 11 in shelling on Idlib, three in a bomb explosion, and one in clashes with government forces.
In Hama, seven civilians were killed; three in shelling, two in clashes with government forces, one shot by a regime sniper, and one under torture in a government prison.
In addition, ten civilians died in Ar-Raqqah, in shelling on the suburbs of the town of al-Tabqa. A further five civilians died in Deir Azzour, four in shelling, and one in clashes with government forces in rural Aleppo.
The killings of two civilians were documented in Homs as a result of shelling, and another in clashes with government forces in Al-Latakia.
