The death toll in Syria on Saturday 14/05/2016 reached 33 deaths including three children, three women and one killed under torture.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 16 civilians; seven in mortar shelling on government controlled neighbourhoods, six in clashes with ISIS, two in shelling on the town of Babees, and one under torture in a government prison.
In Daraa, three civilians died; one randomly shot during fighting between factions, another in shelling, and one in a bomb explosion – remnants of shelling.
An additional three civilians were killed in Homs, two in shelling, and one in clashes with government forces.
A further three civilians perished in Deir Azzour, one shot by a stray bullet in al-Jurra neighbourhood, and two in a landmine explosion in their car. Furthermore, two died in Al-Hassaka, one in a mine explosion, and the other in mortar shelling in al-Qamshali.
The killings of five civilians were documented in clashes with government forces, three in rural Damascus, and two in Idlib. The killings of two civilians were also documented in Hama, one in clashes with government forces, and the other in an ambush carried out by the regime.
