The death toll in Syria on Monday 02/05/2016 reached 33 deaths including a woman and one killed under torture.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of eight civilians six in shelling on Kafr Hamra and Awijal (rural Aleppo) and Masakin al-Firdaws (Aleppo), one in ISIS shelling on the Turkish city of Kals, and one shot by a regime sniper.
In rural Damascus, 11 civilians were killed; nine in fighting between factions in eastern Ghouta, a woman as a result of the fighting, and one in clashes with government forces.
Furthermore, five died in Homs; three in clashes with government forces, one from wounds sustained from previous shelling, and another under torture in a government prison.
In addition, four perished in Idlib, three in clashes with government forces, and one found killed at the hands of unknown assailants. A civilian was also killed in shelling in Hama.
The killings of three civilians were documented at the hands of ISIS, under charges of cooperating with the free army in Deir Azzour. The killing of a civilian was also documented in Daraa, in clashes with ISIS.
