The death toll in Syria on Wednesday 27/04/2016 reached 66 deaths including 11 children and four women.
A staggering 48 civilians were killed in Aleppo; 20 in the targeting of al-Quds Hospital in al-Sukari neighbourhood, six in shelling on old Aleppo neighbourhoods, 12 in mortar shelling on government controlled al-Jamiliya, al-A’damiya and al-Ismailia neighbourhoods, and ten in clashes with Kurdish militia in Ain Daqna (rural Aleppo).
Idlib witnessed the killings of nine civilians; five in shelling on Abdeen and Ibleen (rural Idlib), three in clashes with government forces, and one in a bomb explosion.
In Homs, two civilians were killed, one in clashes with Kurdish militia (rural Aleppo), and the other in Kurdish militia shelling on the town of Ain Daqna (rural Aleppo).
An additional two civilians were killed in Daraa, in a bomb explosion planted by ISIS, and two in Ar-Raqqah executed at the hands of ISIS.
The killing of a civilian from Damascus was documented in clashes with government forces, and a civilian from Ma’damiyat al-Shaam (rural Damascus) died as a result of the lack of medicine due to the siege. Additionally, the killing of a civilian was documented in Al-Hassaka, executed at the hands of Kurdish militia.
