Massacre in Residential Districts of Deir Azzour

Russian war planes and helicopters targeted the districts of al-Hamidiah, al-Almaan, al-Rashadiah, al-Sina’iah, and al-Mataar al-Qadeem in the city of Deir Azzour with several air strikes on Saturday, coinciding with severe artillery bombing. The strikes killed 17 people and injured several others, as well as causing severe material damage to the residential areas.

These districts are all under ISIS control.

The victims are:

1) Ahmed al-Homsiah
2) Ahmed al-Hallat
3) Iyad Abdul Fattah al-Abdullah
4) Jasim al-Hazaa’
5) Hasan al-Baj’ah
6) Khansa’ Hamuka
7) Dunya al-Hamuka
8) Salih Dhiyab al-Marhaj
9) Abdul-Rahman al-‘Akeeli
10) Eid al-Khlewi
11) Ghazwan al-Riyaash
12) Fawaz al-Fateeh
13) Mohammed al-Fatoori
14) Mahmoud al-Homsiah
15) Warda Mustafa al-Hamuka
16) Yasin al-Ba’aaj
17) Yasin al-Riyaash
