The death toll in Syria on Sunday 10/04/2016 reached 59 deaths including six children, five women, and one killed under torture.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 24 civilians; six in shelling, nine in clashes with government forces, four in clashes with ISIS, three shot by ISIS in the village of Hawar Kals, one shot by unknown assailants, and one in mortar shelling on government controlled neighbourhoods.
In Idlib, 13 civilians were killed; ten in clashes with government forces, three in shelling on the town of Safuhan, and one in clashes with ISIS.
Furthermore, five died in Hama; two in shelling on Qal’at al-Madiq and Latmeen, two in clashes with government forces, and one executed at the hands of pro-regime militia near the village of Um Harteen.
In addition, six were killed in Deir Azzour; three executed at the hands of ISIS, two in shelling, and a journalist from wounds sustained while covering clashes in the town of al-Ra’I in rural Aleppo two days ago.
An additional six civilians were killed in Ar-Raqqah, five in Russian airstrikes, and one executed at the hands of ISIS.
The killings of three civilians were documented in rural Damascus; one in clashes with government forces, another in clashes with ISIS, and one executed at the hands of ISIS. The killing of a civilian was also documented in Daraa in clashes with ISIS, and another from Damascus under torture in government prisons.
