The death toll in Syria on Saturday 09/04/2016 reached 37 deaths including six children, and five killed under torture.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 17 civilians; five in shelling – the majority in al-Baab, four in a mine explosion remnants of ISIS, seven in clashes with government forces, and one in mortar shelling on his home in New Aleppo neighbourhood.
In Idlib, seven civilians were killed, four in clashes with government forces, and three in shelling.
Furthermore, five died in Deir Azzour, three executed at the hands of ISIS, one in shelling, and one under torture in Sednaya military prison.
In addition, three died in rural Damascus, two under torture in a government prison, and one in clashes with government forces. An additional three civilians died in Hama, two under torture in Sednaya prison branch 215, and one in clashes with government forces.
The killing of a civilian from Daraa was documented, shot by Jordanian border guards while trying to enter Jordanian territory, and another shot by a regime sniper in Homs.
