The death toll in Syria on Thursday 18/02/2016 reached 27 deaths including three children, and four women.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of five civilians; two in mortar shelling on Saif al-Dawla (Aleppo), one in shelling, one in clashes with Kurdish militia, and another shot by Kurdish militia on al-Kastilo Road.
Furthermore, four perished in Homs in shelling on Tadmur and Talbisa. An additional four civilians died in rural Damascus, three in shelling, and one in clashes with government forces.
Five civilians died in Idlib, four in clashes with government forces, and one from wounds sustained in shelling on the MSF hospital in Ma’rrat al-No’maan. In addition, three died in Hama, two in clashes with government forces, and one in a hand grenade launched by an unknown assailants in al-Salmiya.
The killings of two civilians were documented in alliance shelling on al-Dasheesha village (Al-Hassaka). The killings of an additional two civilians were documented in Daraa, one in clashes with government forces, and the other in a landmine explosion. A civilian was also killed in clashes with government forces in Deir Azzour, and another executed at the hands of ISIS in Ar-Raqqah.
