The death toll in Syria on Tuesday 16/02/2016 reached 81 deaths including ten children, and two women.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 33 civilians; ten in shelling on al-Baab, 12 in shelling on al-Sakhur neighbourhood and the towns of Kafr Hamra, Yaqid al-Ads and al-Baab (rural Aleppo), seven in clashes with government forces, two in a landmine explosion in the vicinity of abu al-Thahur airport, and one in Kurdish militia shelling on al-Sheikh Maqsood neighbourhood (Aleppo).
In Damascus, 12 civilians were killed, eight in clashes with government forces, and four in shelling.
An additional 12 civilians were killed in Al-Hassaka, by suspected Russian airstrikes targeting a bakery on Tuesday at dawn.
Furthermore, nine civilians perished in Daraa, five in shelling, and four in clashes with government forces. In addition, 11 died in Idlib in shelling targeting the MSF Hospital and the town of abu al-Thuhur on 15/02/2016.
The killings of two civilians were documented in shelling in Homs, and one in clashes with government forces in Hama. The killing of a civilian was documented in Deir Azzour, as a result of a previous wound sustained in shelling and the lack of medical care, which led to his death. A civilian was also executed at the hands of ISIS in Ar-Raqqah.
