The death toll in Syria on Monday 15/02/2016 reached 87 deaths including 17 children, eight women, and two killed under torture.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 37 civilians; 13 in Russian airstrikes on I’zaz, six in shelling on Kaljabreen, six in shelling on Andan, Haritan, Ma’rrat al-Arteeq and al-Sheikh I’sa, two migrants from rural Aleppo in alliance airstrikes on al-Bukamal, eight in clashes with Kurdish militia in northern rural Aleppo, and two in clashes with government forces.
In Idlib, 19 civilians were killed; 12 in shelling on Atba MSF Hospital – among them five medical staff, five in shelling on 101 Hospital in Ma’rrat al-No’maan and the town of Abu al-Duhur, and two in clashes with government forces.
Furthermore, 18 died in rural Damascus; 12 in shelling on Douma, Masraba and Ain Tarma, four in clashes with government forces, one shot by unknown assailants, and one under torture in a government prison.
In addition, six perished in Homs, five in shelling on Garnada village and the town of Harbanfsa, and one in clashes with government forces. A further four civilians died in shelling in Daraa.
