The death toll in Syria on Sunday 14/02/2016 reached 66 deaths including eight children, four women, and two killed under torture.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 38 civilians; 21 in shelling on al-Qatraji neighbourhood and the cities of Manbaj, Kafr Hamra and al-Baab (in the suburbs), 13 in clashes with the Kurdish YPG, three in mortar shelling on several neighbourhoods under government control, and one executed at the hands of ISIS.
In Damascus, 13 civilians were killed; eight in shelling on Hawsh Nasri and Douma, two in clashes with government forces, one due to the lack of medical care and medicine in Jasreen, another executed at the hands of unknown assailants in al-Tal, and one under torture in a government prison.
Furthermore, five members from one family died in Daraa, in Russian airstrikes on the town of al-Harak (rural Daraa).
In addition, three perished in Homs, two in clashes with government forces, and one in shelling. Two civilians were also killed in Idlib, one in clashes with government forces, and the other under torture in a government prison. A civilian from Al-Latakia was also killed in clashes with government forces.
The killings of two civilians were documented in Deir Azzour, one in shelling and the other in clashes with Kurdish militia in rural Aleppo. The killings of an additional two civilians were also documented in Ar-Raqqah, shot by Turkish border forces.
