The death toll in Syria on Thursday 11/02/2016 reached 30 deaths including five children, a woman, and two killed under torture.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 12 civilians; six in shelling on the town of Hazwan (eastern rural Aleppo) and Manbaj, five in clashes with government forces, and one in mortar shelling on the government controlled neighbourhood of al-Hamdaniya.
In rural Damascus six civilians were killed; two in shelling on Douma, two shot in Khan al-Sheikh, and two in clashes with government forces.
Furthermore, four died in Idlib, three in clashes with government forces, and one under torture in an opposition prison.
In addition, three civilians perished in Homs, two in shelling on al-Abaara (Tadmur), and two in clashes with government forces. A further two were killed in Daraa, one of them a member of the civil defence carrying out his duties.
The killing of a civilian was documented as a result of wounds sustained in previous shelling on Ar-Raqqah, and another in clashes with government forces in Al-Latakia. The killing of another civilian from Al-Hasska was documented under torture in a PYD militia prison nine months ago and his body was handed over on 11/02/2016.
