Displaced Person dies due to Cold at the Turkish-Syrian Border

8-February-2016 By admin2

waheed khalouf

A displaced Syrian died at the Bab al-Salamah border crossing with Turkey in Izaz, as a result of the piercing cold the area is currently experiencing and lack of heating resources.

Approximately 25,000 displaced people have gathered at the crossing for a week, whilst Turkish authorities refuse for them to enter Turkish lands.

The displaced person who died was Waheed Khalouf, who hailed from the city of Deir Ezzour.
