The death toll in Syria on Sunday 07/02/2016 reached 39 deaths including nine children and four women.
Aleppo witnessed the killings of 19 civilians, 14 in shelling on the towns of Ma’rra al-Arteeq, the English Tomb, Kafr Hamra, Tadif and Kharbasha (rural Aleppo), and five in clashes with government forces.
In rural Damascus, six civilians were killed; four in clashes with government forces, one shot by a regime sniper, and another as a result of lack of food and medicine due to the siege imposed on Douma.
Furthermore, five died in Daraa, three in shelling, and two in clashes with government forces.
An additional five civilians died in Deir Azzour in shelling on the town of Tabiya al-Shamiya and al-Bu’amr. A civilian was also killed in Al-Hassaka at the hands of the Kurdish Unit YPG after they stole his cattle.
The killings of two civilians were documented in clashes with government forces, one in Hama and the other in Idlib. The killing of a civilian was also documented in Talbisa (Homs) as a result of shelling.
