The death toll in Syria on Saturday 30/01/2016 reached 52 deaths including seven children, eight women, and one killed under torture.
In Deir Azzour, 18 civilians were killed, 17 in shelling on the towns of Hatla, al-Haseeniya and al-Hisan, and one as a result of malnutrition due to the siege imposed by ISIS on government controlled neighbourhoods in Deir Azzour.
Rural Damascus witnessed the killings of seven civilians; five in clashes with government forces, one in shelling, and another from starvation due to the siege imposed on Madaya by government forces.
Furthermore, 11 died in Idlib, ten in clashes with government forces, and one in tank shelling on Awbeen border camp.
In addition, five civilians perished in Aleppo, four in shelling on the towns of Baza’a, Manbaj and Tal Raf’at, and one in mortar shelling on government controlled neighbourhoods.
An additional five civilians were killed in Hama, four in clashes with government forces, and one under torture in branch 215.
The killings of four civilians were documented in shelling on the town of Nawa (Daraa). The killing of a further two civilians were documented in clashes with government forces, one in Homs, and the other in Al-Latakia.
